I think that the way that kids and teens view themselves have a lot to do with whether or not they do well in school. It makes since that how we view ourselves would affect how successful we are in our lives. Children who do not see themselves as worthy or smart are of course going to feel less inclined to actually give a legitimate effort when it comes to their studies.
